Facilities

Beach house, further north, in Valadares (Vila Nova de Gaia), close to Oporto. Quiet, safe area with few tourism. At 100 meters from the beach. Generous terrain, splitted in half. Independent access. Single storey house with large porch, large living room with kitchen, sofa bed (and foldable bed). Has children pool! You can expand to our Micro-Camping other side of terrain, with wooden house, caravan, tent space. Note: Swimming Pool is seasonal (for kids). July till September. Other months ask first.

Location and surroundings

Nearby, close to Navy Basic School, coffee shops, local grocery, and local restaurant with great portuguese food (lowcost, and takeaway). Also along the coast several restaurants, pubs. Wooden trail along the coast, red trail along the road for walk or bike. Beach low tides reveal nice pounds for kids to play.

Additional conditions

Upper North, at Afurada, there's Main Dock with sailing tours, paddle, bike rent, rowing, tour guides, restaurant and coffee shops. At Afurada can taste best fish at local centre (avoid mondays), and try local restaurants or "tascas"-style. Nearby, bird watching for nature and bird lovers. Can also cross the river to Oporto Foz by taxi boat, also effective to take bikes. Visit Wine Cellars at Gaia, local trade, and Historical Centre at Oporto. Much more. €990 per month Plus Deposit fee, equal to a month value, returned after 15 days, after cleaning/ full checkup and photos are done. For monthly renting not available on high season (June, July, August, September), or rent value has to be agreed. This Period is for Holidays only! House to be freed before this period!!! Preference 6 months * Expenses not included! (safeguard for house content monthly rent) For longer stays, house content is minimum, or starter, or to be agreed. Typically only large equipments are available. If small equipments get damaged, and already out of warranty, guest must replace it. Typically longer stays, guest must buy small house content and appliances.
