Pouso da Serra – Rural Hospedagem, is located in the center of a mountain village, in the place of Custilhão, Castro Daire-Viseu, next to the mythical EN2 (national road 2) in the middle of the Montemuro mountain range, close to 900 m above sea level and next to exit nº 7 "Castro Daire Norte", of the A24-motorway interior north.

Facilities

Casa de Baixo, Casa de Cima and Casa do Meio, are three secular houses, owned by the same family for more than four generations and now intended for rural accommodation, with independent entrances and distributed over 300 m2 of interior habitable area to comfortably accommodate a maximum of 11 people.

Location and surroundings

The closest cities, within a radius of 30 km, are: To the south, Viseu, capital of Dão Wines and to the North, Lamego, Peso da Régua and Vila Real, references in the Douro wine and Port wine region. To the northwest, in the Dão Lafões region, is São Pedro do Sul, a spa town. In the vicinity of Pouso da Serra, you will find river beaches, schist villages, a network of viewpoints, geosites, walking trails and also a vast religious heritage, such as the Ermida Monastery. The Carvalhal spa, considered one of the best spas in the country, is also a reference point in the region.
